The Made for Medicine Program

According to Association of American Medical Colleges U.S. Physician Workforce Data, many groups remain underrepresented in medicine. Made for Medicine was founded as a programmatic solution to address that underrepresentation by supporting students with an interest in pursuing a career in the medical field.

Our vision at Made for Medicine is to create a future where the medical field reflects our society, where health equity is realized, and where every individual, regardless of their background, has equal access to quality healthcare. We aspire to empower the next generation of doctors who will enact positive change, dismantle systemic barriers, and transform the landscape of healthcare for the betterment of all. 

Our Mission:

The mission of Made for Medicine is to is to increase the number of doctors and advance health equity by exposing and preparing youth to enter the medical field. 

Our Goals:

1. Increase equitable representation in the medical field 

2. Create a pathway that provides access to early medical education 

3. Deliver a culturally responsive curriculum 

4. Provide access to consistent mentorship, training, and holistic support
